Shooting Star Farm

We are located in Jonesboro Arkansas.  We show and sell Tennessee Walking horses.  We ride both flat shod and padded horses.  We also offer horse boarding at our facility.  My husband and I promote the Black Stallion Literacy Foundation.  It is a non profit organization that is devoted to literacy in both first and fourth grade students in Arkansas as well as the rest of the United States.  It is a chance for us to share our love for horses with children in our community in a way that promotes literacy and reading through Walter Farley's famous books, "The Black Stallion" as well as "Little Black A Pony"!  We want to encourage you to make a difference in the lives of the children in your area by volunteering.  Contact me Joy Fisher at joy.fisher@bslf-online.org and visit our web site at www.bslf-online.org    You may also reach me by phone at 870 926 1764.
